Initially I was pleased but not overly impressed as I made the common mistake of serving too chilled. As this warmed and opened it became very enjoyable - key lime pie, pear, and assorted tart fruits.

48/35/17 Rousanne/Marsanne/Viognier. Medium plus nose shows nuts, almond, white peach, apricot, Meyer lemon, dried vanilla. Palate shows similar notes, acidity is there which is harder with these varietals, lemon curd, marzipan, finish does very well, holding lightly with medium plus length, cashew, peach, orange peel in there. Complexity for the value here is excellent. Interesting wine that could be paired with different styles of dishes.

Year in and year out, one of my favorite go-to Cali Rhone whites; this again delivers at a very reasonable price point ($22). 48% Roussanne, 35% Marsanne & 17% Viognier w/13.4% Etoh.
Color: light straw yellow. Bouquet shows green apple, ginger, honey and lemon drops. Palate had just a gentle touch of sweetness; not too distracting but perhaps a note more residual sugar than previous vintages? Palate of kiwi, peaches, ginger and baking spices. Good acidity and a reasonably long finish. Winner in my book.

Well made, but slightly oxidized upon opening. Did not evolve in the glass. Pleasant, but perhaps past peak.

Rhone valley white blend - minerality, rich, med acid, lush, spicy, great texture. Lime notes on palette. Very nice.
