I bought this for $8 almost 8 years ago, which means it probably cost more to cellar this long than to buy in the first place. But hey, it turns out to have paid off because this is really good now, much better than it was when it came out. The fruit has really enriched itself, and is much sweeter and fleshier than it used to be, to the point where it really has that southern mourvedre heartiness. It has those earthy accents but the fruit being richer and more in the foreground actually feels more primary now than it did then. The rubber cork doesn't seem to have done any harm here. Two bottles left, wonder when I'll get to them?

Confirms my previous review (4 years ago), only now it's time to drink it. Easy drinking - not bad at all, but over the hill.
