First bottle from a half case purchased from the Dutch importer in 2017. Unfortunately not a good bottle. The nose is not clearly corked but I think I detect a whiff of cardboard, the palate feels hollow and stripped of fruit, and the finish is raw, with unpleasant bitters. Probably low level TCA.

It was said the vins were sames as the Liger-Belair's bottling, which costed 10 times. An attractive spicy and floral aroma, deep ruby color, silky palate, complex and juicy of blackberry and minerals with enjoyable after taste. In this vintage, this wine would be comparable to some 1er Crus. Don't hurry to drink them but can't resist now.

Had this with homemade pork schnitzel after an epic snow/sled day in what has been a week of them here in Nashville. Was a perfect pairing and really just a joy to drink right now. Certainly could benefit from more time if intent was to have it standalone but its great with a mild pork dish right now.
aromatics: red and dark fruit with no hint of tightness
palate: dark fruit with a great balance of acid and fruit. Exceptionally complex for village level. These guys have it dialed in. Good Good Good stuff.
Drink now or wait a year or two. Finish hinted at some powder left in the barrel

Every body loved this wine tonight as it overshined the others I brought for the sea dinner in Nanya island.

Corked. What a pity.
