A Thanksgiving cheers to Chateau Boswell. We hope they rise from the ashes like a Phoenix soon.
When this crosses the palate, you have no doubt you are drinking Sonoma Chardonnay. It shows; edgy chalky volcanic backbone, green & golden apple, syrupy overripe pineapple, tropical melons, lime candy, white stone fruits, buttered popcorn, saline, caramel, vanilla, butterscotch, Lemonhead candy with yellow lilies, spring flowers and mixed greens. The acidity & viscosity are excellent. The finish is lush, well crafted & balanced with high polish that persists minutes.
The structure & backbone in this Chateau Boswell will be perfect for our brined turkey. However, still well deserving of more cellaring.

The nose is soft and delicate. Meyer lemon, pineapple, lime, cream, touch of melted butter, melon, soft chalkiness, hint if green apple, honeysuckle, fruit blossoms, light caramel notes, saline and spring flowers.
The body is full round. Texture is amazing. Mouthfeel stunning! Meyer lemon, pineapple, lime, cream, touch of melted butter, melon, soft chalkiness, hint if green apple, honeysuckle, fruit blossoms, light caramel notes, delicate soft white spice, saline, yellow lilies and spring flowers. The acidity is perfect. Their wood use is very subtle as few in Napa do. The finish is perfectly textured, balanced, seamless, elegant, persistent and delicious.

You can't go wrong with CB chardonnay - it's been consistent now for a few years. Well made. Slight butter with enough citrus to balance. I typically get tropical flavors balanced with minerality. Minimal oak. Great mouthfeel, smoothness and with complexity. Good finish. Some may consider pricey, but I've always said you get what you pay for, enjoy!

Luscious and faintly sweet. Peach and citrus notes on the palate, with a refreshingly long finish.
