This sparkler shows a lovely golden color with modest bubbles. The toasty, somewhat yeasty nose is followed by a complexity in the taste combining all kinds of yellow fruit with a red fruity twist towards the end. There is nothing too exuberant here, it's all refined and smooth and nicely tied together. The excellent balance with a true brut character presents a lovely zesty acidity to accompany the diversity of subtle fruits, and is followed by a buttery, nutty touch. This is a sparkler that can accompany you through a dinner, but for me it would ideally combine with garlic shrimp scampi.
