  • Intriguing nose of apple, citrus and dried spices. On the palate, this is quite complex, with minerals, citrus, apple, and spices. Terrific balance. Excellent Macon, and well worth $28 retail, before discount, IMO.

  • $25.99 full retail. Vibrant nose of appley fruit, citrus and an intriguing spiciness. On the palate, again, it's quite spicy, with little to no obvious new oak influence. Apple and citrus fruit. Nice acidity. Very fresh. Very impressive. One thing I love about this wine is that it's not an ultra-low-yeild Macon dressed with a bunch of flashy new oak, dressed up to look like a more expensive white Burgundy from another appellation in order to justify its high price tag (relative to other Macons) - but, rather, it's just a superb, yet still very typical Macon. Perfection in its own way. Possibly the best Macon I've had to date.
