Still going strong, high acidity profile keeps the aging in check. Excellent nose, whiffs of petroleum reminding me of a serious Alsatian Reisling. Flavor profile has lots of acidity. Would pair well with picata style dishes. Nice wine. If you think SB needs to be consumed early, this will change your mind.

This pale yellow wine is a blend of 76% Sauvignon Blanc, 23% Chardonnay and 1% Marsanne. Vinification was entirely in stainless steel, without any oak exposure or malolactic fermentation. It is a pleasant, albeit unusual offering by virtue of its minority components. Highly perfumed and floral, it adds notes of citrus, marzipan and kiwi. Light-bodied, freshly acidic and without any heat from its 13.5% alcohol, it stays solid in the middle and finishes with medium length. Even though Marsanne constitutes only 1% of the blend, I would have guessed this to be from the Southern Rhone if tasted blind. Drink now-2019.
