Great nose with the dark rose flower on top of mature fruits profile I often find in good Beaune PC wines. The nose is evolved but not old. The palate shows considerable amounts of tannins, but very rounded and refined and beautifully balanced by fleshy fruit aromas. Palate is not Grand Cru level, but not far. A slight metallic note vanishes after some minutes, the only default I find here! A winner.

Burg Dinner at The Eatery, Wine #10: a bit stewy black fruits, some metallic notes, this was just ok, age showing.
