This wine is notably lighter and more delicate than the 2013, which showed considerable richness and power. The colour is light gold, looks very young for a 5 yo chardy. The nose is minerally and citrussy. There is a touch of stone fruit and vanilla oak, but the nose is dominated by lemon and grapefruit. The palate is light to medium bodied, and shows the same citrus and white peach flavours, with a touch of nutty oak. Palate is linear and dry, finishing with good acid. I like the flavours though was hoping for a little bit more fruit density in the middle.
By the way, the reviewer who said it is unwooded is NOT talking about this wine. The maker says 7 months in French oak.

Says unwooded but the wine's pretty heavy on toast. Eh.

Balanced but nothing stands out except for the too-sweet finish.
