- Crimsom color and aromas of eucalyptus, black currant, chocolate and coffee and has flavours of blackberry, black currant and violet with a medium/full body with a long finish - A great sipper, incredible NOSE, in addition to a well balanced palate.

Easy weeknight drinker. Goes well with food or for general sipping without. Not overly ripe and showing extremely well. More bordeaux in styler compared to many napa merlots.

Got a glass here now and it needs time to open; give it an hour and then start with a splash. This merlot comes out dark ruby with a tinge of purple in color. The nose is scented with dark chocolate, cranberry, some raisin, and fresh mushroom. After an hour, the palate is filled with tart raspberry, a light dusting of cocoa, and some hint of tobacco. the fruit is there, but the dark palate is much more prominent, and the finish is nicely tart and the tannins are pretty well integrated. Like everyone else here, I advise that you decant and sip an aliquot until it's ready to drink. It's a very good merlot for the money.

Not decanted. Deep purple color in the glass with a ruby rim. Earthy aromas of mocha, coffee, cigar box, bay leaf and blackberry. The palate brings slightly under-ripe black cherry, blackberry, mocha and forest floor. Acidity is medium; tannins are also medium and mostly integrated. Finishes at medium length with a touch of dusty earth. Drinking well now, although I wish there was a touch more acidity for balance.
