  EASY drinking. Nothing complicated. Strawberry nose Medium ruby color. Smooth, bright and light to the taste. Not a bit bitter or astringent. Worked well with dessert. Nondescript wine but certainly a pleaser.

  (opened 2 hours ago) - color: dark purple, but with some translucence; nose: cherry and oak; taste: just shy of a medium-bodied mouth feel, tastes of slightly syrupy red fruit -- maybe cassis?, medium-length finish with abundant black pepper notes, tasty moderate tannins; overall: pleasant weeknight fare, fully ready to drink as of April 2018, good QPR ($11/bottle at Bin 604 in Baltimore). Paired well with rich cheese, and probably would go great with grilled burgers too.
