Love most of the Enfield wines but this isn’t really hitting the spot for me. As others note, a bit more muted fruit, very savory. A little too tilted towards the latter for my personal preference.

Pleasant, but don't think I would re-purchase at this price point. Just not my preferred style of California Pinot. A wine I can appreciate but just don't understand. Very high acid. In fact, I feel like this had more of a rose and white wine sensibility to it. Very dry, mouth-puckering finish. Wish there was a little more fruit or body to balance out the acid. Pomegranate, raspberry, dried cranberries...did i mention the acid?

Savory, savory, savory. Mid-palate brings a wave of umami, and the fruit is a supporting player that veers towards tart berry. I would have a hard time picking this wine as Californian, especially when the tannins kick in on the finish. It’s a Pinot of contemplation and food pairing, rather than a wine that stands out on its own, dominating the stage.

Structured and Burgundian - needs a lot of time. Pomegranate and cranberry fruit, black cherry skin, screaming acidity but light tannins. There’s a deeply savory edge of bay leaf and iron underpinning the bright fruit which promises much more significant development down the road. Drink 2025+, maybe later. The bones are there for much more than it showed tonight.

Medium pomegranate red color. Monochromatic with strong acidity that never comes into balance with the weaker fruit.
