  Appearance - Ruby color, clear at edge, reflective, good body/legs - 3/3
  Aroma/Bouquet - Blackberry, black plum, oak/vanilla, mineral, hot/alcohol - 4.5/6
  Taste - Blackberry, black plum & cherry, rich tannins, mineral/limestone, oak/vanilla, spice - 5/6
  Aftertaste - Long finish, black fruit continues, tannins fade, some minerality remains, alcohol slowly dissipates - 3/3
  Overall - Good complex wine, fruit, mineral, balanced tannins and alcohol - 2/2
  Note - This wine evaluation is based on the American Wine Society 20-point judging criteria, then interpolated into a 100-point score.

  Taste - Blackberry, plum, vanilla, oak, spice, hot/alcohol, light tannins - 5/6
  Aftertaste - Long finish, black fruit continues, tannins continue, mineral/chalky (limestone) - 2.5/3
  Overall - Good fruit, oak, mineral mix/complexity - 2/2
