So surprised by the incredible ripe fruit the has really mellowed tannins. Expected little from this and was pleasently surprised. Tastes the way mature Sonoma should with a bit of pepper. I really think this amy have a few years left but it is doing soo well now.

Color = inky maroon Aroma = full nose of roses, earth, brick, black pepper, licorice, and cloves Taste = green pepper, spices, chocolate, black pepper, tangy purple fruits Consistency = smooth and full Architecture = balanced, with corners and complexities Finish = long and satisfying; the subtle tannins make me salivate and want more Evaluation = What a nice wine! The longer it breathes, the more flavors it reveals and the warmer it grows. It's amazing that we were able to pick up this bottle at our local Kroger for a mere $10! I should go back right away and buy all the rest of this vintage. Tonight I'm not pairing it with anything, but I can tell that it would be great with a variety of foods--from hearty meats to rich desserts. I would be proud to serve this wine to my friends.

Nice dark berry fruits, a distinct green vegetal flavor in the middle, good acid and a moderately long finish with somewhat drying tannins. It seemed to come together after about an hour in the glass.

Good wine. Decent nose. Earthy and green. A slightly tart finish.

Nice wine. Classic green pepper appeared throughout time bottle was drunk.
