  • EYE: vibrant ruby. NOSE: mulled black cherries, raspberry, roasted tomato stem, ... MOUTH: arid, comfortable texture holds a saccharine thread of bright red berry juice flavor. It develops weathered, shaggy tannins to bully the fruit, drawing attention to the frailty of the perfume. Residual resins of orange peel, sage, and arbor vidae to finish testify its thriving. Holding it all together is a doodle of plain, fructological determination. It's efficiently sweet, buffered from the harder elements, and dry. I admire the broad range of flavor here, coarse as it may be. It's not on the precipice of expiring, but I see no reason to keep it. Good with a hamburger
