  • Under cork , destemmed , wild yeast , 35% new French oak for 17 months
Colour deep ruby red , crimson edges 15/15
Nose high intensity ripe black fruits, cherries , wild raspberry, dark herbs , liquorice, funky , earthy mushrooms 28/30
Palate med to full bodied , pretty funky , big tannins dominated the wines be at present 38/44
Overall the bottle has been opened to 24 hours and not much change , still tannin dominated , must be due to the oak because no whole bunches used , meh 7/11
29 June opened under vacuum now for 5 days , no change in colour aroma or flavours , keep trying to find something nice to say ....

  • Simple signature Pinot aromas, offering discrete scents of raspberries, dark cherry & cola. Not particularly complex or interesting. Palate is quite austere; a bit thin, a bit woody. Meh.
