  V pleasant middle of road Cairanne wine. Tanins still a tiny bit sharp so think it will go till 24 but equally happy to drink beforehand

  Deep ruby. Fairly intense nose. Blackcurrant overlaying raspberry. Menthol notes. Good acidity. Liquorice. Cherry. Black pepper. The alcohol (15%) is still hefty but mellowing. Good stuff.

  Nicely perfumed, dark fruit forwards, warm, sweet spices and jam, one for christmas? Keeps together, not mouthfilling big, but rather stays on the tongue with some licorish, (mynthe/perhaps medical, as a typical association).
