  • Black opaque Red in colour with a purple rim at Jan 2019. excellent.
On opening we have ripe spicy fruit leaping out of the glass , flavours of plums, prunes with some nice Oak which is well integrated but not all new . v/good but not great.
On the palate we have sweet ripe fruit up front ,similar flavours to above, rich mid palate sweetness an nice oily tannins giving great length with just a little acid kick on the end. v/good again
Well made an worth checking out , starting to drink well now but will live many years , more savoury in style than a super big wine. QPR $35 about right
