  • Nice bright yellow colour, maybe a slight tinge of orange. Aromas show lemon with some orange blossom, steely (shows a touch of yeastiness at first but blows off as it warms up). Nice complexity, medium weight. So zingy acidity both tart and yet bitter but not overpowering. Lemons, lemon zest, and a bit of peach. Good acidity. As the winemaker states …. ripe, round and elegant. Good weight and mouthfeel, longish finish. Very enjoyable.

  • Pretty far to the dry end of the spectrum so far as Alsatian Pinot Gris goes.complex and elegant. Mineral and floral with very reserved fruit. Faintest hint of honey. Very good but pair carefully.
