Tasted at The Fox, Hampshire, UK, wine dinner. Dark ruby colour. Light berries on the nose. Smooth, silky. I'd describe this as a fun wine - very pleasant and easy to drink, but not memorable.

From Botter/Tor del Colle, premium wines (Riserva), Montepulciano variety, ages for 12 months in wooden casks and then another 12 in steel tanks. Tasting: purple red color; fruity notes, ripe cherries and forest fruits in mouth with a very smoky, wooden notes, touch of herbs. Full bodied wine with solid good taste. Very worthy, like the smoky or jammy fruit in.
