HUGE California over ripe butter bomb. For those of you who prefer this style, this wine's at least a 92+ for you. For those looking for a little leaner, more minerality, less overpowering, more complex, this wine will disappoint. Butter and tropicals on the nose, vanilla and sweet oak abound. Heavy mouth feel, hint of hot anise on the finish. The alcohol is 15.2% on this bruiser but they wrote it so trickily on the side of the front label its almost impossible to read. That's ok - it TASTES like it..... No aging potential whatsoever so drink up me hearties before all you are left with is sweet goop.

This bottle was lacking the fruit typically found in Martinelli Chardonnays. Still a nice wine. Drank over 3 nights, and it was strongest on Night 2. Would drink up now, as I am not sure wine can age much longer.

Yellow color with a wonderful bouquet and flavor of pineapple, dried apple, dry brown sugar, and some toasty oak. Very nice supporting acidity with very good nuance and quite a long finish. I was surprised how good this wine was. Went very well with our steak and tendon Pho at favorite Vietnamese restaurant.

Buttery without being overbearing. Little spicy oak on the finish gives complexity but takes away from the smoothness. Very good. Tropical vanilla fruit on the palate.

Wonderful, aged Chard. Lovely nose, still fairly bright acidity. Very nice. but last bottle, sigh.
