Sad to see our last bottle go, but it's a good as ever. A classic every vintage (with Paul Hobbs' help, of course) this is some of the nicest vineyard fruit in Napa Valley, and below the radar for years.

A bit of a funny wine, but good.....had a wonderful and lengthy tasting at Laird the other day. Very informative. Some nice whites and a couple nice reds at still very affordable prices for Napa. This wine was particularly intriguing. We had a tasting pour and it clearly stood out as their best red. So after about 2 hours sitting there we bought a bottle and consumed 2/3rds of it before handing the rest of the bottle off to a birthday party on their grounds. At $80 it's a bargain, but the bottle we had didn't appear to be as good at the pnp as the bottle we tasted from which I have no idea how long it was open. An hour? A day? Whatever it was it added flavor and depth of fruit and length, compared to the other reds we tasted and in comparison to the newly opened bottle.
