  Clear, medium colour depth. Slight tawny tinge, dark black cherry jam red 3
  Rich fruity and spicy nose. Plum pudding? Mint, pepper. Crushed gum leaf, violets. 6.5
  Full fruity flavour. Good balance. Nicely structure palate, the flavours develop and linger. Mild tannin, well integrated. Moderate acidity. Dry. Noticeable spirit heat, a bit of afterburn but not as much to be unpleasant. Classic grapeseed peppery spice lingers. 8.5
  Well aged, at its prime now and ready to drink.

  Nose shows notes of liquorice, raspberry, basil, and black olive. On the palate, the fruit is intense, and slightly meaty. Flavours of blackcurrant, black olive, basil, and rocket.
