Opened one hour before drinking to accompany coq au vin. Medium cherry colour. Plenty of red berry fruit on the nose. The palate shows strawberry, pomegranate, with bitterness in the background. Drinking well now, but don't think it will benefit from being kept much longer.

Just received from reserves at the Wine Society, opened 30 minutes before drinking to accompany lamb kebabs. This is excellent pinot noir, slips down so easily, very moreish. Light Burgundian colour. The nose promises good fruit, plummy, oranges, raisins, violets, complex. The palate is very dry, soft, very well balanced, good plummy fruit, it's beautiful soft fruit, not a fruit bomb. Excellent. I would say at its peak now, though probably good for another couple of years.
