A beautiful golden yellow colour with slight hues of brown. Aromas showing light petrol, mineral elements, honeysuckle, lemon, tangerine and some marmalade. Medium bodied, zingy acidity. Long finish. Starts out with tangerine, lemon, marmalade, with sweet sensations but finishes dry with bitterness. Beautiful wine. Good balance.

Nose: mineral, pear. Palate: honeysuckle, a slight sweetness on the open, which ends up dry and long.

The yellow color indicates a wine with some age. Heavenly notes of wax, honeysuckle, petroleum, ginger, citrus, apples and a little apricot. The taste is so vibrant and delicious. Plenty of acidity and fruit. A slight sweetness brings a little smoothness to extreme minerality this wine delivers… No wonder people says that Schoenenbourg is one of the top cru’s of Alsace. One of the best plots I’ve tasted….

Excellent palate. Just a perfectly classical Alsace riesling.
