1st bottle corked, 2nd bottle excellent. Clear light ruby color with bright fresh red fruit, musk, clean animal fur, dry red soil, aromatic cedar. Pleasantly tart and balanced.

Drank next to a Testarosa new world pinot, and it was a push. Education on the difference between old and new world pinot. Mineral, rocks, and delicate, delicate light fruit. Finish was moderate, this was a good deal. Nice contrast to the testarosa, which was not better, and a little more expensive.

VERY GOOD Man...I even love the cheap Burgundy. This has got to be the lightest Pinot Noir I've even had, you could see right through the glass. Not my favorite Pinot Noir by any stretch, but certainly worth the money (QPR). I think it's still a little young as it started opening up after 3+ hours of decanting. Earthy undertones with a weak nose, but the palatte delivered a little spice and cola...a fun wine.

(Joseph Drouhin Savigny-lès-Beaune) Very pale strawberry color; appealing sweet strawberry and strawberry liqueur nose; delicate but appealing tart strawberry fruit; short-medium finish
