  • We decided to go off the beaten path for a Jura Chardonnay...always seeking new drops!

Fairly dark, yellow gold on the eye. The visual conjures up images of a Sauternes. Très intéressant!

Aromas of burnt honey, candy apples, stony citrus and a touch of vanilla, almonds and toasted oak. Très complexe ;-). We still are trying got get our noses around this luvly...perhaps a few more years in the bottle will allow greater understanding of the confusion overwhelming our olfactory organ! We could see this blossoming by 2020 or so. Equally of great importance, this curiosity demands an hour or so to breathe...the veil is slowly lifted as Mother Nature works her magic.

Palate is smooth, toasted almonds, burnt caramel apples, hints of oak, a touch of sourness and a long, elegant finish. We would look forward to sipping this dahlin' again in a few years. We like it now...we will likely propose by 2020.

A winner from A to Z. At this price, we want more, more and, well, if it is not clear, more... Unique!
