Medium yellow color, aromas of peach, orange pith, and slight petrol, medium plus body, medium plus acidity. Overall very nicely balanced with pleasing finish.

Initially pretty uninspiring on its own, but add some hard cheeses, peppered salami, and whole grain crackers and the enjoyment factor increased substantially. Needed some time in the chilling decanter to open. Pale lemon color, medium minus body, medium alcohol. Leads with upfront “ashy” minerals, white florals, white pear, green melon, lemon peel, and juicy tangerine. Exhibits a waxy, almost oily mouthfeel with medium acidity being very subtle. Medium finish. More intensity, and length would have improved the technical evaluation, food improved enjoyment. Not sure cellaring will help improve this. Drink by 2022.

Soft, subtle, mineral more than fruit or floral notes. Mild to moderate acidity, less than most Gruner. Like others have said, drinkable, but simple and forgettable. Wouldn't buy it again.

Less tasty than the other buccheger gruners. Unpleasantly dry on the back end.

A bit thin for my taste. Some lemony acid without much body. Not nearly as good as the last bottle. I will try again tomorrow.
