The '13s are always tricky. Some are great, some are so/so, some are horrible. This is pretty darn close to great. But still too young in honesty but we are hoping to attend their release party and wanted to check how it was coming along. We'll definitely be getting more.
Slight note of alcohol on the nose that didn't blow off completely by the 2nd pour but did lessen from the initial sniff test. Lush red fruit follows on the nose with a hint of cooking spice. Medium bodied with complexity of earth, black tea, plum. Nice long finish that we've come to expect with DG wines. Lovely wine.
