Really good wine. Syrah dominant I'm assuming but there's some grapey stinky fruit which suggests a Grenache component as well. Could have fooled me as a ripe Crozes with layers of smoke and game/meat. Licorice and minerals tightens the palate up a little late. Previous tastings told me these guys were good and this just re-enforces. (A$29).

For the price an excellent bottle of wine. Full bodied and easy to drink with or without food.

D5h. Dark red. Oozing of primary dark fruits. Rustic palate. Perfect paired with confit de canard
