  • Popped and poured with a 10-minute decant, and what a nice surprise. Deep color, opaque with rich aromas of cassis and black fruits that sailed onto the palate with rewarding richness and
flavors matching the intriguing aromas; finishing quite long and tasty. Soft and sweet tannins present throughout, supporting the finish cleanly. Best wine ever from this label, and frankly not sure why, as prior bottles have only been fair-to-good. This was outstanding with a dry-aged bone-in strip steak, prepared al Fiorino, which was perfectly paired. Wow.
