Very ripe, thick sweet fruit, bordering on sickly. Not poxed, though. And this survived well for a couple of nights in the fridge, losing its sickliness

Pine resin, flint, slighly oaky, and some cheniny tones on nose. Rich, slightly advanced, coconut, racy, in mouth. Not my favorite D-J - the oak is unfortunate. The 04 MC is head and shoulders above this.

Fairly expressive nose of yellow fruits and vanilla. On the palate, big and flashy, with flavors of vanilla, oak, apple and pear. Nice balance. Well-made, fancy stuff. Indeed, a ringer for a more expensive Cote de Beaune white. $30 retail, before discount.
