Hmm. Pretty pedestrian BDX for $35. Tannic, beefy and dense; decent finish, not much fruit on display. Steak doesn't do much to bring it out, either. More earth than anything. Nothing much to see here.

Pomerol Light. Disjointed upon opening, it benefitted from half an hour of air. Ditto recent notes. Medium, good mix of red fruit, soft tannin, enough character to know it is Bordeaux. Yet soft and lush enough to be good by the glass. It is in a good spot, drink now. I'd buy more.

Medium bodied, simple, dominated by red berries and earth, this easy going, soft wine requires drinking.

Good balance and colour and a nice finish. Better after being open for some time.
