  An elegant wine but, at the same time, a wine that is just too understated.
  Perhaps we should not be looking for overstatment in red Beaune. Perhaps understatement is what this wine is all about.
  
  After three hours in the decanter, it certainly has gained in weight (and possibly gained in a certain fruit acidity).
  
  I don't know. I suspect I need to come back to this wine in an hour's time.
