  • Definitely different and a long way off the beaten path. The nose and the palate have an unusual, though entirely welcome, hard to describe, sassafras meets scuppernong aroma and flavor. Really dark golden color. Not overly acidic. Unusually earthy. Relatively heavy mouth feel. There is that sharp, spicy, tree sap flavor with the mostly orchard fruit on the finish.
