From memory: Sweet black fruit, spices and vanilla on the nose and palate. Ripe, smooth and well balanced, but there’s not much here that points to place of origin. Very “international” and bordering over-oaked, but I find it hard to be too mad – delicious in a “guilty pleasure” kind of way…

90% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Medium-high intensity aromatics offers earthy, barnyard, dark berry, blackberry, dark cherry, and black spice notes in a rustic profile with terrific complexity. It is medium-bodied with smooth, supple tannins and lovely barnyard-led flavours that mimic the nose. It has juicy acids and a long, clean finish.
