This wine really benefitted from a 2-hour decant. 60 F. Pleasant inoffensive entry level bordeaux, but overpriced for what it is. Ruby color, medium depth. Subdued nose of cassis, lead pencil. Light-to-medium body, no noticeable heat, silky tannins, light acidity. Sweet blackberry and cherry fruit on the palate, notes of dark chocolate, dried oak, hints of black pepper spice. Short, clean finish.

Cab dominated Bordeaux blend being aged in 1/3 new French oak barrels.
Great value for the money. Give this guy 2-3 hours of decanting and it will shine beautifully. Medium+ bodied, medium+ in tannins and very dry. Nice blackberry notes combined with decent oaky notes of cedar and some earthy notes of pepper . The finish is VERY decent and lasts for a pretty long time. All in all, a very good entry level Bordeaux, I am very impressed.

Great value, classic left-banker. Slight finish of vanilla following mostly dark fruits and cassis , after slightly floral/green opening bouquet that passed quickly after opening. Didn’t hold up the second night as well, but still good.

Deep ruby red. Fruition the nose. Medium to full body at this age. Black plums, cherry and blueberries to savour.

Good bargain Bordeaux. Well-balanced, medium-bodied, with polished tannins, dark fruit with good depth, and green tobacco notes.
