Beautiful old school traditional Bordeaux. Great structure for aging and yet accessible. Mixed red and black fruit with a nice balance of natural acidity. Secondary notes just below the surface. Nice long finish.

Fine Wines SG - Bordeaux vs China BYO Dinner (Praelum Wine Bistro): Medium ruby and homogeneous. Aromas of red cherry, grass, and hay. High tannins and fresh acids. Red cherry and raspberry flavours, as well as flowers and an overt grassiness, and green bell pepper. A surprise of a right bank example given the high pyrazine feel

Fine Wines SG - BYOB "The Best of Merlot" (The Communal Bistro Delicacy - CBD): Deep ruby, viscous and highly extracted. Aromas of cloves, pepper, then cassis and greens. Tight tannins, full bodied, some alcohol heat, with flavours of ripe blackberry and cassis. Spicy finish, and not very lengthy
