A weighty (15.5% ABV) Gigondas from an estate owned by Gabriel Meffre since 1999. Warm nose, roasted chestnuts and black fruit, exotic spices and fresh toast, black pepper, tobacco and a hint of autumnal evolution; nicely balanced palate, full-bodied but not overblown, with balancing freshness and finely grained tannins; energetic finish with very good resonance and length.

Classic Gigondas. Pepper, tobacco, leather, black fruits, higher acidity.
