Very disappointing. This was a big ugly bruiser of a Cndp. High alcohol, port like. Not well made at all. Not the first poor Cndp from this vintage I've had.

Just starting to get interesting - the darker side of grenache, with nice spice and savory tones. It'd be fascinating to see where this was in 5 years, but alas, i just drank my last bottle.

tasting Day and visit throughout Rhone Valley, north to south...: 91+ could be 92, that old vine grenache, 100 YO or more is the unique vineyard that makes the wine, the nose shows a gamy character, loads of ripe fruits, quite warm, hen the palate is so yummy and fruity, the crispiness combined with light ox gives the wine a great finish of both salinity and yummy candy, good wine,

Smells like beef stew. Extracted and intense and tons of power there. Better with food? Julieta is made hungry by this wine.
