Plummy with alcohol overtones, deep purple/black color, boysenberry, dense and strong with a long finish. As it opened up it became slightly porty and seems to be at or a bit past peak.

Bright red, very clear. Lively aromas of bing cherries, cassis, smoke. Medium body, but not very long on the finish. Very bright acidity made this wine go well with food, but I would have preferred a little more weight. Overall a pleasant wine, but expected more from mountain fruit.
