Best years were in the past, but still held up ok. Got it for cheap so happy with it. Took full 24 hours to open up. Not amazing, but made for a nice, cheap, midweek Barolo.

Amber color on the rim, showing distinct signs of age, muted nose, leather and meatiness. I am not a barolo expert and I thought they could go at least 10 years if not longer, but this wine seems past its prime with faded fruit.

Ok. Less than I expected, but it was not a great Barolo anyway. Cherry proeminent, already evoluted with meat and sous-bois aromas. Not bad.
