This is a very convincing Saint-Émilion from a superb vintage, and for a reasonable price. It is still quite tight, tannic and structured, but it is also pleasantly fruity and balanced, revealing nice notes of plums, blackcurrants and ripe red berries. I think that this will be even better with some ageing.

A private dinner (Brasserie SenT, Amsterdam, NL): A blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc, biodynamic viticulture. Makes the most of a great vintage. Elegant and fresh, with good weight of black cherry fruit (14% ABV), ripe vegetal notes, hint of tobacco, well managed tannins provide gentle grip, liquorice note on the finish, good length. Very nice now and over the next 5-7 years.

Noch sehr jung, da sind vielleicht mehr Punkte drin. Am dritten Tag sehr schön, tief, vollmundig, dunkle Beeren, Lakritze im Finish.

From the small bottle ... three days open. There are seem to be many more years in this. Very nice and well balanced (from the beginning).
