A gorgeous wine, drinking well now.
Clear ruby in the glass.
Captivating, bright nose of stewed plums, cherries, sweet wood and vanillan notes.
Palate follows well from the nose fresh plums forward, rich cherries and subtle strawberry notes carry through...some vanilla notes persist at back of palate.
Tannins seamlessly provide a fantastic mouth feel (complete and round) and length to the finish.
More balanced, complete and richer wine compared to 2016 vintage.
Drinking well now, but still has time in it.
