my first vinos de madrid! I was not expecting a lot based solely on the price point but this wine really delivers. Medium (-) bodied and dry this wine is packed with floral, mineral and juicy red berry flavors. The acidity is very crisp and brings a very nice refreshing quality to this guy. Great QPR. this would pair well with white meats as well as fish and pizza. Very good quality Drink now - 2009

An initially reticent nose evolves into pleasant cinnamon aromatics, not untypical of the QPR mainstays that come from this producer. The chief virtue of this bottling is its full-on body and lingering finish.

Color: Bright/light ruby Nose: lively red fruit - cherry and raspberry with earthy/savory notes and a hint of licorice. Also some mineral apects coming through. Lively fruit and acidity with balance from minerality and licorice hints. A exremely nice bottle for the price; one of my favorite under$10 ($7 no less!) of the year. Crisp, pure and elegant.

color: sparkling ruby nose: lively red fruit (raspberry, cherry) with floral notes, and hints of licorice and some savory beefy notes after time in the glass. Lots of soft, yet juicy fruit that moves briskly to sparkling acidity. Some nice hints of licorice, spice and minerality in the finish. killer value.
