This is a very interesting wine. It is Chardonnay based, blended with brandy, and aged for six weeks in Jack Daniels barrels. And you can really taste those barrels in the wine! Subtle flavors of vanilla and pears, mingling with that whiskey barrel toast flavor. Unique and enjoyable, especially when served very cold. Salud!

The label says "aperitif wine," but we drank this for dessert last night and it was a perfectly good dessert wine.

Drank as a dessert wine with sticky toffee pudding. Good pairing for this very sweet wine.

Aged 18 months in Jack Daniel's barrels. Apricot, vanilla, peach, pear, almonds. Cru Royale = Cru + sparkling wine.
