  • Expressive nose that begins with a blast of cinnamon, raspberry, rose petal, camomille, and earth. The complex flavors are a blend of cinnamon, candied raspberry, earth, and nutmeg. In the mouth, this medium-bodied wine is flavorful with surprising refinement. It is mouthfilling without being heavy, and the finish expands from raspberry, to cinnamon, to nutmeg. The wine of the evening when compared with 99 Ata Rangi, 04 Kosta Browne Sonoma Coast, and 99 Roumier Chambolle-Musigny. A surprisingly great wine.
