Opened for 2 hours, then double decanted for a short 15 min period, started consuming about one hour later.
To most in the group it was a clear Napa Cabernet but someone said French…
Body is big, fruit forward, nice integration of tannins, alcohol, acidic and oak. This wine is drinking nicely now but it will only improve in the next 3-10 years.
93+

Pnp, drank over 2 evenings. Enjoyable, dark fruit, round texture, supple tannins, no terroir notes. Released at $175? Too much. I paid $117 in 2023. I stopped buying from the winery about 20 years ago for this reason.

Outstanding. One of my favorites. Classic Rutherford dust well integrated. Wonderful nose and chewy jammy finish. Drinking very well right now. On my list to purchase more.

Clone 6 is much better than clone 4 IMO. This is less jammy than the 4 and settles into ripe fruit and oak flowers and spice. Nice finish and well made.

We opened this wine for 5 hours before start consuming, no decanting. It was bold, lots of tannins, high acidity, the oak a notch over the top at this stage and phenomenal finish. 91+ the first night.
On day 2 we had a quarte of the bottle and it was wayyyyy BETTER. The over the top oak got settled as it did the high acidity, it was in a great harmony. 93+
This wine is very good now with a long slow ox (24+ hours) or maybe a 1-2 hours decant, I went the slow route. But I'm sure the best course of action will be to hold it for another 2-4 years and then do a 4-6 hours SOX with a 10-20 min decant.
