Black Lion Wine Club - The "new" Old World (The Black Lion): Clear medium lemon. Medium intensity aromas and flavours, fairly neutral but quite ripe, nectarine, circus. Youthful. Off fry palate, medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium (-) finish. Middle of road, good quality, but nothing particularly distinguishing.

100% Narince (pronounced: Nah-rin-djeh) Medium straw yellow, clear.
Need an hour to come out of its shell, showing peach, orange blossom, lemon zest.
Similar character on the palate, although with a more textured, richer mouthfeel than otherwise suggested by the aromas. Slightly nutty, creamy characters came from the fact that it was rested on lees for 3 months after fermentation.
Interesting native variety from an unexpected wine region. This could yet improve with a year in bottle. 88+

Narunp note was spot on. For a 5 year old white it felt vibrant, lively acidity with a floral / stone fruit element.
