This wine over-delivers with slate and chalk in the nose and flavors of lemon, fig, a certain graininess and a bitter floral finish that is not off-putting. Lemon finish that had length for a $11 wine.

Time to drink, the wine has become a bit flaccid with still vibrant lemon and acidity but lacking mouthfeel and finish. Too thin at this point.

Funky, grassy notes with some waxy lemon verbena in the finish and back palate. This may be declining, drink in 2019.

Rock and lime citrus. Very good and mouthwatering.

Skunk, grass, lemon peel with a drying short finish.
Nice aperitif or bold food wine due to its straightforward nature.
